👏 On February 24, Ridge Ruxton School and West Towson Elementary collaborated on a "Cereal Box Domino Day" service-learning project to benefit the Maryland Food Bank. Grade 4 students at West Towson calculated that based on a 103.7-meter distance between the two schools, and the need for at least 3 inches between each box, they would need 475 boxes of cereal to create a door-to-door chain reaction. In the end, 687 boxes were donated. The project was inspired by a similar initiative at Prettyboy
