Dan Beirne and Emily Lê lead the cast of PAYING FOR IT, a film based on the graphic novel from Chester Brown. We had the chance to meet them last September at TIFF , alongside director Sook-Yin Lee . She told us about the importance of involving her community and the local Toronto artists in the filmmaking process, and how that contribution helped bring a more nuanced and reflective quality to the film.
